RECAP: FREE Webinar: CHP at Wastewater Treatment Plants

April 21, 2016, 1:00 PM CT

RECORDING - CHP at Wastewater Treatment Plants

The application of combined heat and power (CHP) at wastewater treatment plants is proving to be a great opportunity to reduce energy costs, save money and improve the resilience of the plant. There is considerable opportunity for the deployment of CHP across the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) industry. The Department of Energy’s Southwest CHP Technical Assistance Partnership (CHP TAP),  with support from NACWA, WEF and AMWA, will be leading a webinar on the opportunities and applications of CHP at your WWTP. The CHP TAP can serve as a great resource for facilities considering implementing CHP systems and can help conduct no cost site screenings/analysis. Please join us on April 21st at 1 pm CST/2 pm EST to learn about these CHP benefits and opportunities for your plant. Additional information can be found at our website – www.southwestchptap.org.

Speakers:

  • Gavin Dillingham, PhD, Director of the DOE's Southwest CHP TAP
  • Chris Lyons, Manager Power Turbines for Solar Turbines
  • Mauricio Lopez – Development Manager - CAT Electric Power Group
