The Summit is based on the state’s work in the National Governors Association Policy Academy on Industrial Energy Efficiency and CHP, and the recommendations to help industries voluntarily increase their energy efficiency resulting from this effort. Alabama industries, technical assistance organizations, utilities, regulatory or government bodies, educators, and the energy sector generally will participate to discuss industrial energy efficiency and CHP in Alabama.
