The Mississippi Manufacturer's Association hosted an Environmental & Safety Conference and Expo from October 10-12 in Philadelphia Mississippi. While the majority of the event focused on these topics in general, the group held more focused energy sessions during the half-day event on the 12th. On the 12th, the Southeast Center for Industrial Energy Intensity Reduction presented in three sessions. The Mississippi State University team from SECIEIR will hosted a breakfast round table discussion focused on technical applications of industrial energy efficiency projects and combined heat and power projects. The North Carolina State University team from SECIEIR participated on a panel on Energy Incentives for Existing Industry,and a panel on Energy Policy and Projections. Click here for more information.
