NBI Webinar: State and Local Policies and Programs to Promote Zero Net Energy Buildings

February 26, 2014

New Buildings Institute (NBI) and NASEO have collaborated for the past several years on advancing research, policy, and program design related to zero net energy (ZNE) buildings.  The two organizations hosted the Getting to Zero Forum as part of NASEO’s September 2013 Annual Meeting.  Building upon that meeting, NBI is organizing a series of webinars throughout 2014 that focuses on specific areas of interest related to ZNE buildings.

On Wednesday, February 26, NBI will host a webinar on “State and Local Policies and Programs to Promote Zero Net Energy Buildings.”  In addition to a presentation from NBI on stretch codes, Chris Wagner, NASEO Program Manager, will present on state trends related to ZNE.  The webinar will also feature a presentation by Janet Streff, Manager of the Minnesota State Energy Office, and Tom McDougall, President of The Weidt Group, on Minnesota’s Sustainable Building 2030 (SB2030) Energy Standard.

The webinar will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST.  To register, click here.
