NASEO-CSE Webinar: Modeling EV Policy Choices to Ensure Intended Results

February 18, 2021, 1:00 - 2:00 PM ET

In partnership with the Center for Sustainable Energy, NASEO will be hosting a webinar on Thursday, February 18 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET. to explore ways that states can assess the impact and cost of various policies intended to spur EV adoption (this webinar is being rescheduled from the original date of February 9). The webinar will feature a demonstration of the Center for Sustainable Energy’s new platform, Caret™, which provides data-driven, real-time answers about the projected cost, EV adoption rate, and emissions reduction that would result from various policy choices. The platform also can calculate how stacking incentives would make specific EV models affordable to low- and moderate-income households to help policymakers advance equity. CSE, a NASEO Affiliate Member, developed Caret using data from around the world and its experience managing more than $1 billion in EV incentive programs in six states.
