The 2022 Oil Price Outlook

January 13, 2022, 12:00 - 1:30 PM EST
Virtual session
NY

Looking through the fog of uncertainty hanging thick over oil markets is the idea of this session. In January, we will have at least a little more of a feel for winter-weather, little else will be clearer than it is today. Huge questions on the trajectory and composition of demand growth and issues such as tapping out of OPEC+ spare-capacity; resumption of US shale growth and the return (or not) of Iran, or Venezuela, will help shape fundamentals. And that is just the fundamentals dynamic. Add to that an uncertain macro, key political events and turns and the always reliable arrival of a black swan or two and we have the makings of a deeply fascinating forecasting session.

To change things up this year, we are inviting three established 'buy-side' decision makers to share their outlook on next year’s oil market. We also ask you to participate in our annual price-outlook survey. Please submit your price estimates here. See link for our 2021 survey results.

This event will be a virtual session via Zoom Webinar from 12:00 until 1:30 PM EST. Additional details will be provided to registered attendees prior to the session.
