Webinar - The Future of Building Efficiency: Optimization and Energy Efficiency from Advanced BMS Sequences in HVAC Operation

April 18, 2022, 2:00 - 3:00 PM Eastern

Covering a recent National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) report that comprehensively quantifies the potential energy savings of an IoT Building Management System (BMS) in the U.S., across several building types, both retrofit and new construction. Studied applications include Dynamic Chill Water Balancing (DCWB), Outside Air Optimization (OAO), and Smart VAV With Reheat.

NREL cultivated the data in this report by leveraging U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) building benchmarks and characteristics across multiple cities, annualized to capture total building energy savings as well as heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) electricity and natural gas energy use intensity (EUI) reductions.

Presented by: Jay Kress, VP of Sales, 75F

Learning Objectives:

1. Understand how Building Management Systems (BMSs) can achieve energy efficiency goals through commercial HVAC .
2. Understand how Outside Air Optimization (OAO) can be used to achieve energy efficiency.
3. Understand how Dynamic Chilled Water Balancing (DCWB) can be used to achieve energy efficiency.
4. Understand how Smart VAV with Reheat can be used to achieve energy efficiency.
