This NASEO Buildings Committee Meeting will feature presentations from the U.S Green Building Council, the Cellulose Insulation Manufacturers Association, and the Vinyl Siding Institute on the sustainability of commercially available insulation, cladding, and other construction materials for residential energy efficiency. These presentations will provide background for discussions of environmental product declarations, life cycle analysis software to calculate embodied carbon, and linkages to “buy-clean” procurement policies.
