NASEO, together with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissions (NARUC) and the National Governors Association (NGA) are hosting a 1½-day, in-person workshop for leadership and staff from State Energy Offices, Public Utility Commissions, Governor's Offices, and Consumer Advocates in Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana that are responsible for or interested in energy equity. The objectives of this roundtable are to explore how equity is being incorporated into state-level energy programs, regulatory, and energy policy work and to support development of action plans to address equity issues related to a relevant energy-centered topic. Topics that will be explored through an equity lens include stakeholder engagement, decision making, energy efficiency program design, and distribution system and distributed energy resource planning.
