Join NASEO and the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (DOE CESER) for a two-day virtual workshop on waiver processes and winter fuel supply preparedness, taking place August 18–19, 2026, from 1:00–3:00 PM ET each day. 

The workshop will convene State Energy Offices, state energy partners, and invited industry partners for open dialogue and the sharing of best practices to strengthen coordination and close gaps in winter preparedness planning. Topics will include navigating waiver processes and state vs. regional waiver nuances, leveraging situational awareness tools and data, and pre-winter messaging.
